Work you'll do

As a MES Functional Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the US Supply Chain & Network Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing transformation initiatives for industrial clients by aligning shop floor operations, business requirements, and digital enablement solutions.

  • Gather and document business and functional requirements for manufacturing process transformation initiatives
  • Define use cases for work order execution, electronic batch records, genealogy and traceability, and non-conformance management
  • Support shop floor digitization and operational excellence programs across production, quality, maintenance, and inventory processes
  • Collaborate with technical teams on system configuration and integration with enterprise resource planning, automation, and data platform environments
  • Participate in testing, deployment, hypercare, training, and user adoption activities across project delivery phases

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Business
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, or consulting
  • Experience with end-to-end manufacturing processes, including production, quality, maintenance, and inventory
  • Experience working in plant environments supporting discrete manufacturing or process manufacturing operations
  • Experience translating manufacturing requirements into business and functional requirements
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Automotive and Defense, or Industrial Manufacturing
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with manufacturing execution system platforms, including Opcenter, Apriso, AVEVA, or FactoryTalk
  • Experience with ISA-95 or ISA-88 frameworks
  • Experience supporting Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, or smart factory initiatives
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, or Agile project management tools

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $91,100 to $179,500.
