Job description

The Functional Manager, Marketing is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing strategic marketing events that enhance brand visibility, strengthen client relationships, and support business growth objectives for the Enterprise Solutions Unit. This role requires strong project management skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external partners. Additionally, the role requires strict adherence to TCS process compliance, governance, and policy standards throughout event planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing events, both in-person and virtual.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including vendors, venues, registrations, and materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Promote events through email, social media, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Track event performance and prepare post-event reports and insights.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and event partners.

Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years in Marketing with 2+ years in event marketing, preferably in IT/technology sector.
  • Proven ability to lead the project with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management tools and virtual platforms (Marketo, MS Teams, Cvent, LinkedIn Live, etc)
  • Creative problem-solving and ability to work under tight deadlines with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel for supporting events onsite.
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred)

Salary Range: $79,900-$108,100 a year
