About the role
As a Salesforce Functional Lead Analyst, you will make an impact by leading the delivery of Salesforce solutions and migration initiatives, ensuring robust process design, requirements management, and readiness activities for our clients. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with managers, primary teams, and other stakeholders.
In this role, you will:

  • Lead process design workshops and map future Sales/Service journeys across all three user groups.
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices; distinguish out-of-the-box (OOB) scope from exceptions.
  • Own system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios, business validation, defect triage, smoke tests, and sign-offs.
  • Coordinate readiness activities including persona management, access provisioning, training inputs, cutover planning, legacy transition, and Hypercare support.
  • Manage backlog, data validation, and change readiness activities to ensure successful Salesforce implementations.

  • Strong functional expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, core Salesforce objects, and Email-to-Case functionality.
  • Experience in process modelling, backlog management, data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change readiness activities.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Business Analyst, Sales/Service Cloud, and App Builder.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000p.a - $105,000 p.a. depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
