What You Will Accomplish

As an Electrical Project Manager at TEPCON Construction, you will lead electrical construction projects from concept through completion while ensuring exceptional client service, project performance, and financial success.

You will:

  • Lead all phases of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and milestones that align with client expectations and company objectives.
  • Create conceptual estimates and develop scopes of work for projects with limited design information.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, procurement, subcontractor agreements, and overall project financial performance.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, leading meetings and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate subcontractor agreements and procure materials to maximize project efficiency and profitability.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, including in-house trades, field personnel, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, forecasting, and financial controls.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, property managers, subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Participate in project interviews, business development initiatives, and company growth opportunities.
  • Help strengthen TEPCON's reputation as a trusted construction partner known for quality, innovation, and exceptional client service.

What We Would Like You To Have

  • 510 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction with a strong background in electrical systems.
  • Experience managing electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience creating conceptual estimates and developing scopes of work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and schedules simultaneously.
  • Experience with CMiC, Procore, Foundation, or similar construction management software.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and related collaboration tools.
  • Strong financial management, forecasting, and project reporting experience.
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
  • Journeyman electrician certification
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
