Barn Manager - Dewberry Farm (Brookshire, TX)Full-Time $18/hour Includes Nights, Weekends & Holidays
Dewberry Farm is looking for a hardworking, responsible, and animal-loving Barn Manager to join our team! This is a hands-on position focused on daily animal care, barn maintenance, and assisting with educational programs and farm events.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care for farm animals, including cattle, goats, ponies, donkeys, chickens, peacocks, and a llama
  • Feed and water animals, monitor health, and administer basic medications as directed
  • Clean stalls, pens, and enclosures daily to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment
  • Ensure animals always have access to clean water and appropriate bedding
  • Assist with school field trips and guest interactions, including speaking to students about animals, agriculture, and farm life
  • Support seasonal farm activities and events as needed
  • Work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays (especially during the Fall season)
  • Flexible summer schedule available

Compensation & Schedule:
  • $18/hour
  • Full-time position
  • Flexible hours during the summer; extended hours during the Fall/Christmas Festival season
