Essential Functions
- Educate Loveland Ski Area guests on skier safety and current snow conditions; provide a friendly and approachable liaison for guests' questions and concerns.
- Provide emergency medical services to customers and employees on mountain and in the aid room.
- Evacuate injured skiers/snowboarders from mountain or base area to patrol room.
- Mitigate hazardous and unsafe conditions.
- Avalanche control and rescue.
- Chair lift evacuation.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be customer service and safety minded with strong interpersonal skills and team oriented.
- Ability to obtain and maintain EMT-B and/or Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certifications.
- Proficient skiing/snowboarding ability as determined by the Ski Patrol Leadership Team.
