RF Engineer IV - RF Microwave Design
Location: Sacramento, CA (On-site)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RF Electronic Engineer IV to lead the design, analysis, and evaluation of microwave-based components. This role focuses on high-performance RF components, including microwave amplifiers, detectors and frequency converters, supporting demanding and reliability-critical applications. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on RF design expertise and the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges while providing technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, simulate, build, and test RF/microwave hardware, with emphasis on RF microwave amplifiers, detectors and frequency converters.
  • Apply advanced RF and microwave engineering principles to optimize gain, noise figure, linearity, stability, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Use industry-standard RF and design tools for circuit modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
  • Support prototype development, troubleshooting, and design validation testing.
  • Participate in technical reviews and provide guidance to less-experienced engineers.
  • Generate clear technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, test, and systems engineering.

Compensation

Minimum Qualifications
