Pacific Pros is seeking Construction Logistics Specialist II for Construction Projects to be a representative for Los Angeles World Airport (LAWA).
Work Location: LAWA has required the candidates be locally available for this position.
Region: Los Angeles, CA

Status: Full-time,  On-site.

Opening: August 2026, Immediate
Working Hours:
TBD, typical dayshift is 6:00am – 2:30pm or 5:00am – 1:30pm M-F; night shift is 10:00pm – 6:30am Sun

Position Description Summary
Serve as Owner's representative. 
 
Essential Job Duties

  1.  Wayfinding specialist with multiple years of airport experience, skilled in creating, implementing, and overseeing temporary wayfinding strategies that support pedestrian flow and user experience. 
  2.  Proficient in assessing signage quality, visual appeal, and adherence to standards, with the ability to recommend sign types specific to each project. 
  3.  Experience managing multiple collaborative wayfinding projects with multidisciplinary teams, including staff with technical and non-technical backgrounds. Must coordinate across various disciplines, meeting multiple deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environment. 
  4.  Proficient in reading, interpreting, and analyzing project schedules, Gantt charts, and design plans. Capable of evaluating signage needs based on construction activities, environmental factors, and user expectations to maintain effective wayfinding. 
  5.  In-depth understanding of signage materials, fabrication methods, color theory, typography, and font specifications. Knowledge of signage, temporary wayfinding, and mapping industry best practices. 
  6.  Ability to review projects’ submittals, Phasing Plans, and Site Logistics Plans as submitted through the ASR and LIR processes, with a keen eye for wayfinding impacts. 
  7.  Strong visualization skills. Experience developing concepts, location plans, and proposed wayfinding paths of travel with high visual impact. 
  8.  Proficient in planning, production, and installation of temporary wayfinding that translates complex information into easy-to-understand visuals. 
  9.  Hands-on experience with installation procedures, including regular site walks to evaluate signage effectiveness and updates to plans as needed. 
  10.  Skilled in tracking phasing for production and installation schedules across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and a holistic approach across projects. 
  11.  High attention to detail in verifying the quality and consistency of signage and wayfinding elements, ensuring visual appeal and usability across all materials. 
  12.  Skilled in layout and information design, including the formatting of wayfinding plans, maps, newsletters, flyers, stakeholder updates, and presentation materials. Ability to apply visual hierarchy, consistency, readability, and brand/program standards to ensure materials are clear, professional, and audience-appropriate. 
  13.  Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical or field-based information to both project teams and non-technical stakeholders. 
  14.  Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam for creating, editing, and reviewing visual materials and layouts. 
  15.  Proficient in Microsoft Office tools—including Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint—for project communication, scheduling, and documentation. 
  16.  The candidate shall pass the federal background check. A LAWA badge is required.

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or another related technical field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Professional Experience Level/Minimum Qualifications
  •  10 years or more of experience, preferably on airport building programs or similar complex building programs. 
Professional Licenses & Certifications: 
  •  Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP, or any other relevant professional license or certification.

Element-Specific Requirements/Notes
  • Availability to work overtime as required to meet project deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks is preferred.
  • LAWA has required the candidates be locally available and fully on-site for this field position.
