The environment supports hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle, from initial design through final production.

Role Description The Fashion Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vernon, CA, contributing to the design and development of womenswear collections. This role requires concept development, sketching, technical specification preparation, and design revisions aligned with brand requirements and market trends. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with sales and production teams, participating in fittings, and ensuring accurate translation of designs into samples and bulk production. The Fashion Designer will research fabrics, trims, and textile applications, supports embroidery and embellishment design, and maintains organized design boards and digital files. The role involves regular communication with internal teams to meet timelines, maintain quality standards, and support multiple private-label projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to develop commercially viable, trend-aware womenswear concepts.
  • Knowledge of Textiles, fabric construction, and garment finishing, with the ability to select appropriate materials for design intent and cost targets.
  • Skill in Embroidery and embellishment design, including translating artwork into production-ready details and coordinating with vendors or internal teams.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and basic technical drawing/flat sketching skills. Experience with CLO 3D is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management to support multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration within design, production, and merchandising teams.
  • Degree or formal training in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in apparel design and development.
