Travel to school sites throughout the district is required. The Visual and Performing Arts Department believes that the arts transforms lives and there is much excitement for expanding arts education in the district

Teachers will be hired to teach 1) Performing Arts (Dance, Music and Theater). These teachers will teach all grades, UTK-5, and will serve multiple sites as an Itinerant Teacher. A collaborative spirit will be essential for success in this role and teachers should be open to working closely with colleagues in service of continuous growth and development, to include but not limited to lesson study, action research, classroom observations, etc.

Above all candidates should have a firmly developed growth mindset and strong belief that every student possesses unique strengths/genius and that all are capable of finding their artistic voice and developing literacy. Requirements / Qualifications Qualified candidates must have a valid Single Subject Credential in Dance, Music or Theater or Multiple Subject Credential with an authorization in Music, Dance, or Theater by the closing date of the application deadline.
