Superior Balance Therapy Group is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health professionals to join our dynamic virtual counseling team as Full-Time Virtual Mental Health Counselors. In this role, you will provide essential mental health support to diverse populations through online therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals, families, and groups using evidence-based therapeutic practices tailored to client needs.
  • Facilitate assessment and treatment planning processes by engaging clients in meaningful dialogue to identify goals and challenges.
  • Respond to client crises with calm, effective intervention strategies, ensuring immediate and appropriate care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes while adhering to confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance skills and collaboration with colleagues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from various backgrounds and demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. You will be expected to provide affirming care while respecting the diverse cultural and personal identities of each client, ensuring a supportive environment that fosters growth and healing.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure in California as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT, or eligibility for licensure.
  • Proven experience delivering counseling services effectively to individuals and groups, with a focus on therapeutic outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling rapport-building with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and providing sensitive, affirming care.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and technology to conduct virtual therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Compensation and Benefits
