Position Overview

Superior Balance Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time role at our rehabilitation center located in Kenansville, Florida. Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at our rehabilitation center, where our team values collaboration and shared expertise. In our supportive work environment, you will work alongside two other licensed physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant. The center is designed to foster a healing atmosphere, and we integrate various techniques and therapies to optimize patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals, limitations, and areas of improvement.
  • Manage an individualized patient caseload, seeing one patient per hour, to provide focused and effective treatment.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement customized treatment plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities for pain management.
  • Educate and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to achieve their goals and enhance their overall functioning.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as required.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment services in accordance with best practices and state regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves orthopedic patients dealing with various physical limitations due to injuries or surgeries. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with clients ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation cases to individuals seeking treatment for chronic pain or mobility issues. Our commitment is to improve their functionality and quality of life through targeted physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no history of disciplinary action.
  • Strong foundational knowledge and expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
  • Profound organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in documenting care and assessing patient progress.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly with WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction and professional collaboration.
Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive compensation package ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
