Job description

These duties and responsibilities require a high level of clerical skills, initiative, independence of action, and good judgment. This position requires proficiency in the use of computers and knowledge of Departmental policies and procedures. This position functions at the journey level and requires the ability to format correspondence; spell correctly, proofread for proper use of grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and independently correct errors at a level required for successful job performance and all other duties as required. A valid typing certificate (minimum of 40WPM) certified from a five-minute typing test must be submitted with a completed standard state application (STD 678). Typing certificates issued by the internet or a typing test under five minutes are not acceptable.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
CDCR/CCHCS employees are encouraged to use their existing CDCR email address on their job application.
