Job description

MELE Associates is seeking a TSCM Assistant to join our team in Los Alamos, NM.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

  • Successfully receives formal training and on-the-job (OTJ) and becomes competent in the provision of TSSC services (either TSCM or TEMPEST) to protect NNSA facilities and assets.
  • Developing the competency to effectively communicate TSSC requirements/issues to large or small groups of non-technical personnel.
  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of sensitive measurement and survey equipment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years of experience in physical security or law enforcement, information systems, network, or cyber security, electronics repair and maintenance, or electrical, RF or wireless engineering.
  • Must meet the physical, vison and hearing requirements for TSCM technicians IAW NNSA SD 470.6.
  • Undergraduate degree in an information technology, electronics, electronics, telecommunications, computer technology, security or a related discipline is desirable
  • Must demonstrate the required aptitudes needed to pass the ITC Fundamentals Course, and be recommended by a certified TSCM technician/practitioner
  • Active Q or TS clearance w/ SCI eligibility or favorably adjudicated Tier V personnel security background investigation not more than 4.5 years from proposed entry onto contract.

LOCATION:ย This is a full-time onsite position in Los Alamos, NM.
