Regional Director of Clinic Operations
Reports To: Vice President of Clinic Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Travel: Regional travel required
About Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians
Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians (OSSP) is a nationally recognized orthopedic and spine practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care through clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and outstanding customer service.
We are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Clinic Operations to oversee the operational performance of multiple outpatient clinics. Reporting to the Vice President of Clinic Operations, this leader will drive operational excellence, develop high-performing teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continued organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Provide operational leadership for multiple clinic locations.
โ€ข Lead, coach, and develop Clinic Managers and their teams.
โ€ข Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support patient care and clinic performance.
โ€ข Monitor operational, and patient satisfaction metrics while implementing improvement initiatives.
โ€ข Partner with providers and executive leadership to achieve organizational goals.
โ€ข Promote exceptional patient experiences and efficient clinic workflows.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, quality initiatives, and company policies.
โ€ข Participate in employee performance management, coaching, and corrective action in partnership with Human Resources.
โ€ข Lead operational projects and support new clinic openings, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
โ€ข 5+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience.
โ€ข Multi-site clinic management experience.
โ€ข Strong leadership, financial, communication, and organizational skills.
โ€ข Ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
Preferred
โ€ข Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MSN, or related field).
โ€ข Orthopedic, spine, or other specialty practice experience.
โ€ข Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
