Ignite is seeking a Senior Help Desk Technician (DTS) - Senior serves as a DTS Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting USASMDC G8 RMASP Division travel operations and audit readiness efforts for Telework. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) is responsible for delivering global missile defense, space operations, and strategic deterrence capabilities in support of Combatant Commands and national defense objectives. This role provides expert-level DTS support, travel policy interpretation, audit execution, and business process analysis to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Contingent upon contract award.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as DTS SME with deep expertise in all DTS modules, features, data requirements, and system workflows
• Provide Tier II DTS support to travelers, Approving Officials, and leadership
• Lead audits of DTS authorizations and vouchers for compliance with JTR and DoD FMR 7000.14-R
• Support GTCC management actions and advise on travel card policy compliance
• Maintain oversight of daily performance logs and audit tracking metrics
• Provide content management and business process analysis support to G8 Audit Readiness, Systems, and Policy personnel
• Utilize SharePoint and SMDC KMST portals to manage DTS taskers, documentation, and workflows
• Develop and submit process improvement recommendations to the ACOR to enhance compliance and audit readiness
• Participate in group discussions and provide DTS expertise to leadership and stakeholders as required
Qualifications:
• Secret clearance (required)
• 8+ years of experience supporting DTS and DoD travel operations
• Recognized DTS Subject Matter Expert with in-depth knowledge of JTR and DoD FMR 7000.14-R
• Extensive experience performing DTS audits and supporting audit readiness activities
• Experience supporting Army or DoD Resource Management business processes
• Proficiency with SharePoint and web-based knowledge management systems
