Overview

The HR Coordinator provides bilingual HR, administrative, training, attendance, recruiting support, and team member engagement support for the distribution center. This role requires strict confidentiality, strong organization, task follow-through, flexibility, and a service-minded approach when supporting team members, applicants, leaders, and warehouse-floor communication.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

The HR Coordinator key responsibilities inldue:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality with all HR, payroll, benefits, attendance, and team member information.
  • Provide back-up recruiting support, including job fairs, open interviews, applicant communication, interview scheduling, pre-employment steps, screenings, and job postings.
  • Lead and support New Hire Orientation, including policy review, health program information, benefits enrollment support, and bilingual translation as needed.
  • Provide Spanish/English translation support for meetings, trainings, town halls, team member discussions, and HR or operations events.
  • Manage attendance processes, including hotline review, no call/no show follow-up, attendance write-ups, related documentation, and UKG updates.
  • Use UKG for timekeeping, attendance, PTO review, payroll or timecard support, Document Manager updates, and accurate HR recordkeeping.
  • Provide administrative support to HR, Safety, and leadership teams, including reports, forms, data entry, filing, required postings, copies, and other assigned tasks.
  • Assist team members with HR questions related to payroll, benefits, PTO, policies, engagement, recognition, and general support needs.
  • Serve as a warehouse-floor liaison and support communication, suggestion box follow-up, logo product coordination, safety, training, DDI, special projects, errands, and other duties as assigned.

PAWsome HR Coordinator candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Fluent bilingual Spanish/English communication skills required.
  • Two or more years of experience in Human Resources, payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, training, clerical, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UKG, including attendance management, timekeeping, PTO administration, and Document Manager; experience with timekeeping systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service-focused approach.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow through on tasks, and complete work accurately and timely with limited supervision.
  • Ability to thrive in a diverse, team-oriented environment while adapting to changing priorities and supporting operational needs, employee engagement activities, events, errands, and administrative responsibilities.
  • DDI Instructor Certification preferred.
