About Asahi Beer USA

Asahi Beer USA is a premium beverage business headquartered in the U.S., with a focus on building and expanding a portfolio of super premium brands including Asahi Super Dry and Twisted Shotz. As part of Asahi Europe & International, the global arm of Asahi Group Holdings, the U.S. team plays a strategic role in shaping the future of Asahi's international portfolio through consumer-led innovation and agile market execution. With access to global brands, insights, and capabilities, and supported by Octopi Brewing- a leading production facility based in Wisconsin - Asahi Beer USA combines local agility with global scale to deliver high-quality, distinctive products to U.S. consumers and drive growth across the RTD and beer categories.

About the Role

This is a high-impact seat at the intersection of Brand, Sales, and Distributors. The National Trade Marketing Manager owns the strategy and execution that turns brand ambition into real results at retail - from POS and BTL programs to Buying Window governance and in-market ROI. If you thrive in a calendar-driven, deadline-led environment and love seeing your work show up on shelves, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Own national trade marketing strategy across our Beer & RTD portfolio
  • Lead POS, BTL programs, and execution toolkits from brief to in-market
  • Drive Buying Window governance and hold agencies and partners accountable to timelines
  • Build compelling sell-in stories and activation playbooks for Sales and Distributor partners
  • Own ROI analysis and share performance insights back to Brand and leadership
  • Serve as the connective tissue across Brand Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and external agencies

Travel

This role requires a minimum of one U.S. market visit per month, with higher travel frequency during Annual Business Planning. Candidates based outside of Waunakee should expect approximately 2-3 trips to the Octopi office per month.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually (salaried/exempt)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off & 9 paid holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  • And more

We are an equal opportunity employer. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, or Commercial Marketing in beer, RTD, or beverage alcohol
  • Deep understanding of the U.S. three-tier system and how distributors operate
  • A track record of translating brand strategy into below-the-line programs that actually execute
  • Hands-on experience managing POS, promotions, trade toolkits, and execution calendars
  • Strong commercial instincts and ownership mentality around program performance and ROI
