Job description

Title: General Labor – Warehouse (Tow Motor)
Pay: $18.00 / hour
Shift: Mondays – Fridays 7:00am – 3:30pm
Location: Cleveland (East Side)
 
 
Position Summary 
The employee performs a wide variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, storing products in appropriate locations, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
 
Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Store products in designated areas according to established procedures
  • Operate material-handling equipment, including tow motors and bobcats, safely and responsibly
  • Maintain the outside property by organizing pallets, gaylords, and debris
  • Empty full trash bins and drums and bale unusable drums as directed. 
  • Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors
  • Maintain good communication with internal and external customers
  • Keep work areas clean and organized daily
  • Work in all weather conditions as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Tow motor certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and maintain attention to detail
Safety & Workers’ Compensation Compliance
  • Adhere to all safety programs, including hazard identification, PPE compliance, and prompt reporting of unsafe conditions, injuries, or near-misses.
  • Participate in safety training programs and comply with all company safety procedures.
  • Cooperate fully in any workplace injury investigation and participate in transitional duty/return-to-work programs when applicable.
Essential Physical Functions
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach overhead
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Must be physically capable of safely operating forklifts and other industrial equipment
  • Adherence to all PPE requirements, including hard-hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and cut-resistant gloves
  • Must maintain an excellent attendance record and demonstrate accountability
  • Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Working Conditions
  • Industrial/manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heavy equipment, and outdoor elements
  • May be required to work weekends, or overtime as needed
  • Must follow all safety/PPE, environmental, and quality procedures.
