Job Title: Heavy Tow Truck Operator

About Us: Quantum Towing and Recovery is a leading provider of towing and roadside assistance services in the greater central TX area. We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer satisfaction and maintaining a reliable fleet of vehicles to serve our community's needs. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Heavy Tow Truck Operator to join our team and assist in providing top-notch towing services.
Responsibilities:
Drive to the scene of an accident or vehicle breakdown promptly.
Connect the damaged vehicle to the tow truck safely and securely.
Tow the vehicle to a service station or junkyard, following all safety protocols.
Maintain the tow truck and equipment in good working condition.
Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting as needed.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates on service status.
Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating the tow truck.
Maintain accurate records of services provided and any incidents encountered.
Qualifications and Skills:
At least 21 years old.
Must currently have a valid TDLR license or be able to obtain one.
Must have a Class A CDL license.
Must pass a background check.
Must be willing to submit to and pass a drug test prior to employment.
Previous medium/heavy tow experience required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
Clean driving record with no tickets or accidents in the past 5 years.
