About Us: Quantum Towing and Recovery is a leading provider of towing and roadside assistance services in the greater central TX area. We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer satisfaction and maintaining a reliable fleet of vehicles to serve our community's needs. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Heavy Tow Truck Operator to join our team and assist in providing top-notch towing services.
 
Responsibilities:
• Drive to the scene of an accident or vehicle breakdown promptly.
• Connect the damaged vehicle to the tow truck safely and securely.
• Tow the vehicle to a service station or junkyard, following all safety protocols.
• Maintain the tow truck and equipment in good working condition.
• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates on service status.
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating the tow truck.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and any incidents encountered.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
• At least 21 years old.
• Must currently have a valid TDLR license or be able to obtain one.
• Must have a Class A CDL license.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be willing to submit to and pass a drug test prior to employment.
• Previous medium/heavy tow experience required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Clean driving record with no tickets or accidents in the past 5 years.
