Job description

The Tow Truck Operator plays a critical role in providing timely vehicle towing and roadside assistance services. As part of a team, operators frequently travel between locations to respond to emergency situations and scheduled towing assignments. They are skilled in operating various tow trucks and equipment, including standard, flatbed, and heavy-duty tow trucks, while ensuring safety compliance and effective customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Tow vehicles safely using standard, flatbed, and heavy-duty tow trucks
  • Provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists
  • Operate towing equipment efficiently and according to safety standards
  • Ensure vehicle loading and unloading is secure and damage-free
  • Perform maintenance checks on tow trucks and equipment
  • Adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Interact professionally with customers during service calls

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle operation
  • Valid driver’s license and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

We are a family owned and operated towing and repair business. We have been open since 1950. We have a fleet of 12 tow trucks, including light and heavy duty wreckers as well as flatbed tow trucks. We also have 4 emergency road service trucks. We also operate a 15 bay repair shop at our location. We believe in re-investing in our employees and our business so in our shop you will find the latest and greatest equipment and employees that receive many perks and bonuses through out the year.
