Manufacturing Quality & Compliance Manager

Location: Lansing, MI area

What You’ll Do

·       Lead and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS)

·       Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, Nadcap, FAR, DFARS, ITAR, OEM standards, and IATF 16949 automotive requirements

·       Manage audits, corrective actions, and final product/service release

·       Supervise and mentor the Quality team

·       Oversee supplier qualifications and equipment calibration

·       Support APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for automotive programs

·       Promote safety and regulatory compliance across operations

What You Bring

·       Bachelor’s degree + 10 years in engineering or quality

·       Experience in aerospace and/or automotive manufacturing (steel, aluminum, titanium, etc.)

·       AS9100 Lead Auditor certification

·       Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive Core Tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC)

·       Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing experience

·       Strong understanding of QMS principles and technical specs

·       Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
