Summary
Conduct system calculation, product development activities and prepare test plans, analyze test data, and produce parts, designs, following standard work and design manual.
Schedule and Work Flexibility
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position operating during standard daytime business hours.
Upon the successful completion of the initial onboarding and training period, the Systems Engineer will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with the option to work remotely up to one day per week.
Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in product development activities including engineering studies, feasibility studies, cost estimates.
  • Thermodynamic based modelling and optimization of chiller system design.
  • Execute tests for systems, sub-systems, and components. Analyze and summarize test results to confirm product design performance, capability, and reliability.
  • Calibrate test data with modelling tools and prepare EDR to match test results.
  • Collaborate with EPL to prepare literature for production launch.
  • Collaborate with the compression/heat transfer/electrical/control team to integrate the components design into the chiller design.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing faculties to effectively implement design into production.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or thermal dynamics.
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in HVAC Systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Work independently with general supervision.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
