Job description

At Prime Converting Corporation, we are building a high performing team and are currently searching for quality individuals to share our future. We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to perform local deliveries throughout the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles County areas. This position is home daily and involves operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. We offer medical, vision, dental, and 401k benefits after 90 days of employment. 

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local delivery routes
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Load, unload, and secure freight as needed
  • Deliver products accurately and on schedule
  • Maintain delivery paperwork, logs, and electronic records
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
  • Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of vehicle and equipment
  • Provide professional customer service during deliveries and pickups

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Clean driving record and safe driving history
  • Minimum 1–2 years of Class A driving experience preferred
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Southern California local routes is a plus
