This position carries overall P&L responsibilities and requires hands-on involvement in managing daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership to terminal staff, enhancing employee engagement and retention through development and support.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships between ConGlobal and local railroad officers, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Serve as the key point of contact between ConGlobal and customers, fostering strong customer relationships and addressing concerns as needed.
  • Enforce and uphold all ConGlobal rules, regulations, and policies, administering disciplinary actions when required.
  • Oversee terminal purchases and ensure expenditures are kept within budget while approving payments.
  • Approve weekly time and attendance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll data.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure the terminal is adequately staffed and operational needs are met.

  • Provide regular terminal metrics and reports to management as needed, tracking performance against goals.
  • Perform other administrative and non-administrative duties as assigned by senior management.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in railyard management or a related field.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the MS Office suite of products.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to lead by example.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening
      • The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
  • Open availability

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing railyard operations or similar logistical operations.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety protocols.
