The Goddard School, an early childhood education center, is currently seeking an experienced, qualified, caring, and energetic Resource Teacher. The Goddard School is much more than a day care. We provide care and education for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and school age children.
Our Resource Teachers are sometimes called ‘floaters’ because that’s what they do – they regularly ‘float’ between classrooms. Resource Teachers are very important to our school and support all the various ages and classrooms.
As a Resource Teacher, you will:

  • Lead hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
  • Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child’s day.
  • Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
  • Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred
