Job Description

As a Security Guard Courtesy Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, work with integrity, and contribute through teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a food and beverage production location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, assisting with access control processes for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel.
  • Observe facility operations and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
