Montrose Regional Health is a not for-profit accredited by the Joint Commission meeting the highest standards of healthcare.About the Department:The pharmacy at Montrose Regional Health is a health care service, which comprises the art, practice, and profession of choosing, preparing, storing, compounding, and dispensing medicines and medical devices, advising patients, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals on their safe, effective and efficient use.About The Career:The Pharmacy Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy and supervising pharmacy caregivers to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant medication-use processes. This role provides direct leadership to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, supports staffing and workflow management, assists with quality and process improvement initiatives, and serves as a clinical pharmacist when needed. The Pharmacy Operations Supervisor partners closely with the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Clinical Supervisor to support departmental goals, caregiver development, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and diversion prevention efforts. Although each supervisory role (Clinical and Operational) has designated primary responsibilities, there may be overlap in duties and shared accountability for staff development, quality and safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, operational performance, inventory management, and diversion prevention.
