The 76th Software Engineering Group (76SWEG/MXDEA) is seeking a visionary first-level supervisor to command a team at the forefront of Space Command and Control (Space C2). In this critical role, you will lead the charge in delivering imperative software enablers directly to the warfighter at the speed of relevance, ensuring our nation maintains total dominance in the space domain.
As a front-line leader bridging the gap between cutting-edge engineering and tactical execution, your daily impact will be massive.
What you will accomplish:
- Command an Elite Technical Team: Exercise full first-level supervisory and position management responsibilities over a dedicated team of software professionals. You will direct daily operations, provide continuous accountability, and mentor your staff to maintain the highest levels of technical expertise.
- Pioneer Space C2 Capabilities: Establish the critical infrastructure and technical foundation necessary to provide robust, in-house (organic) software capabilities to program offices directly aligned with the Department of Defense's highest Space Command and Control priorities.
- Build the Innovation Pipeline: Create and manage a rapid-delivery pipeline that transitions emerging technologies, advanced prototypes, and innovative research directly into fully operational capabilities for production squadrons.
- Solve Evolving Defense Challenges: Provide expert software engineering solutions through the relentless research, development, and application of emerging technologies, directly solving the most complex and evolving threats facing the Department of Defense today.
- Deliver at the Speed of Relevance: Remove roadblocks and optimize your team's workflows to ensure that war-winning software enablers are deployed to the warfighter exactly when they are needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain an appropriate security clearance

Professional knowledge of electronics engineering and computer science concepts, theories, principles, and practices and working knowledge of other disciplines, such as aerospace, industrial, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering; of a broad range of engineering standards, precedents, methods, and techniques to ensure work in compliance with regulations and standards; and the applicability of such knowledge to the full range of duties concerned with design, production, and maintenance of Operational Flight Programs, Automated Test Systems, Test Program Set Software, and other systems used to support the warfighter and weapons systems program offices.
2. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
3. Knowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices, and procedures.
4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.
5. Knowledge of budgeting, procurement, standard configuration and finding regulations, practices and processes related to system acquisition and sustainment management functions.
