Job description

Job Title: Structural Welder

Location: Moline, IL

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $22-$25 per hour DOE


Key Responsibilities:

  • Weld, cut, and fabricate metal structures and components based on blueprints and specifications.
  • Work with a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, using different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
  • Inspect materials and finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and schematics.
  • Perform welding tasks in various environments, such as construction sites or workshops.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to safety guidelines and company procedures.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Structural Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
