Job description

Position Title: Structural Welder
Salary Range: $28.00 - $35.00 / Hour DOE
An experienced Structural Welder is sought to join a dedicated team. This role involves the fabrication, welding, assembly, and repair of compactors, balers, and related industrial waste-handling equipment. The successful candidate will work primarily in a shop environment, addressing the challenges of restoring heavily worn equipment while occasionally performing on-site service. Strong skills in MIG and stick welding are essential, alongside the ability to work in a demanding and potentially unpleasant environment. The position offers opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
  • Repair and rebuild compactors and related waste equipment
  • Perform structural welding, grinding, cutting, and fabrication work
  • Restore old, heavily worn equipment back to usable condition
  • Execute tasks focused on repair rather than new fabrication

Requirements:
  • MIG and stick welding experience
  • Ability to work independently on welding tasks
  • Experience handling heavily worn or compromised metal
  • Capability to work through physically degraded equipment
