Job Summary:
Pyramid Consulting, Inc is a leading IT consulting firm, and they are seeking an Automation Test Developer for a contract opportunity. The role involves developing automation tests, managing defects, and collaborating within a team environment to ensure quality assurance in software development.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrated knowledge of testing processes, standards and best practices
• Test automation development experience
• Developing automation tests from acceptance test criteria requirements
• Understanding of one or more functional Object-Oriented programming languages including Ruby
• Writing complex queries and scripts using SQL
• Knowledge of OOP design principles
• Knowledge of Acceptance Test Driven Development/Test Driven Development
• Experience creating Ruby test automation in an Agile/Lean development environment
• Experience creating test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Identify and manage defects, secure fixes and re-run tests
• Cucumber/Gherkin or equivalent behavior driven development experience
• Collaboration /negotiation in a team environment
Qualifications:
Required:
