About Nanak Foods: From modest beginnings, PMF Brands (Nanak Foods) is now North America's largest processor of traditional dairy-based South Asian foods. Established in 1997, Nanak Foods specializes in the manufacturing of paneer cheese, ghee (clarified butter), yogurt and various dairy-based appetizers and desserts.

Nanak Foods manufacturing facilities are CFIA, FDA and EU approved and have Safe Quality Food (SQF) level 3 certification ensuring continual monitoring for quality, safety and legality. Purpose of the job: To assist the maintenance and production teams in the maintenance and repair of food process machinery and facility to ensure an effective and efficient daily operation. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, maintenance, repair, setup, start-up and troubleshooting of dairy processing and packaging equipment Adjusting, dismantling, installing, optimizing, and repairing dairy processing machinery and equipment Identifying, developing, assisting, and implementing improvements related to food processing equipment Perform routine inspections to ensure effective, efficient, and safe operations Perform preventive/regular maintenance on manufacturing equipment/ machinery Identify potential concerns and problems on equipment before failure Communicate and report to team about potential concerns/ problems Documenting and reporting work performed and issues found in compliance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards Responding to calls and effectively prioritizing multiple tasks Must have Completing projects based off of work orders or otherwise assigned Communicate with teammates, supervisors and production staff regularly and concisely Other Responsibilities: Performs the job in a safe and professional manner Maintains/ensures a clean, safe, and well-organized working environment Adheres to company policies Follow work standards of OSHA/LNI Follow work standards of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) international standard Additional Duties as assigned/ required that are relevant to the "Essential Functions and Responsibilities" of the job Requirements Required Skills: Ideally 2-3 year experience with industrial maintenance in a factory/plant environment Skilled in using windows computers for tasks like searching the web, using email, writing text documents, using spreadsheets, filling out forms, teams chat, keeping organized file systems.
