Job Description:

Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates
•Up to a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
•Up to 80 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off

Job Summary
Provide athletic training services in a safe and effective manner to student athletes and sports performance clients, in accordance with the Missouri State Athletic Training Practice Act. Identify, report, address, and triage a variety of sports related injuries that pertain to the athletes at the school, event, or clinic where coverage is being rendered. Facilitate and coordinate the care of injured athletes at CoxHealth designated locations while under the direction of the CoxHealth Sports Medicine Director.

Job Requirements

Education:
▪ Required: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited institution
▪ Preferred: Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited institution
Experience:
▪ Preferred: Previous athletic training experience
Skills:
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
▪ Strong analytical/problem solving skills
▪ Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
▪ Required: Missouri Athletic Training License that is both active and in good standing
