The position is centered in our modern, fully-equipped rehabilitation facility situated in the heart of Fairfax, Virginia. Here, you will work onsite alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Key Responsibilities

• Act with integrity and uphold ethical standards while performing all physical therapy duties.
• Assess patients' individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with them.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques and modalities to support patient rehabilitation and recovery.
• Educate and provide support to patients and their families about injury prevention and recovery processes.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary patient care teams, demonstrating leadership in managing patient therapy goals.
• Contribute to departmental efficiency by engaging in cost management strategies and professional practice enhancement activities.
• Maintain high customer service standards, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on athletes and active individuals experiencing sports-related injuries, as well as patients requiring rehabilitation following orthopedic procedures. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in facilitating their recovery and promoting their return to optimal performance levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.
• Current physical therapy license in the State of Virginia.
• Certified in CPR; must maintain certification throughout employment.
• Able to multitask effectively while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor amidst interruptions.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
• Demonstrate professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions.
• Basic proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, with a focus on sports medicine or rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience in managing diverse patient needs and treatment approaches is advantageous.
