Pay Rate: $25.50 per hour

Position Summary

The Sportsbook Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Sportsbook Manager and Assistant Manager with the daily operations of the Sportsbook. This position supports team member development, staffing, guest service, compliance, and operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations. The Sportsbook Supervisor serves as a leader on assigned shifts, promoting exceptional guest experiences and supporting the overall success of the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC.
  • Assists with scheduling, training, coaching, and developing Sportsbook team members.
  • Ensures proper player tracking, wager processing, and payout procedures during assigned shifts.
  • Monitors daily operations and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, service, and profitability.
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels to support business demands and special events.
  • Collaborates with other departments to execute promotions, tournaments, and player events.
  • Ensures team members complete required training and receive ongoing development opportunities.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local gaming regulations, internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitors department activities to ensure compliance with all gaming laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Conducts regular floor observations and maintains continual awareness of operational activity throughout assigned areas.
  • Maintains security and accountability of company-issued equipment, including keys, radios, and handheld devices.
  • Promotes a safe work environment and follows all company and departmental safety standards.
  • Stays informed of industry trends, new technologies, and operational best practices.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of sports, sporting events, and sportsbook operations.
  • Effectively manages guest and team member concerns with professionalism, patience, and sound judgment.
  • Understands and complies with the Company's Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plans, including regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated persons.
  • Manages multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attends meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Promotes positive employee and public relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of Sportsbook supervisory experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of player tracking systems and complimentary guidelines consistent with industry standards.

Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced casino environment and requires frequent interaction with guests and team members. Team members may be exposed to secondhand smoke and extended work hours based on business demands.

Schedule Requirements

Due to the nature of the gaming and hospitality industry, schedules may vary and include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. This position will primarily provide coverage for swing shifts and requires weekend availability.
