The Revenue Cycle Data Integration Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the organization has access to accurate, reliable, and actionable revenue cycle data. In this position, you'll work closely with revenue cycle leaders, finance teams, and operational stakeholders to transform complex billing, claims, coding, and vendor data into trusted datasets that support key business decisions.

The starting annual salary for this position is $112,528 and this can include a full comprehensive benefits package.
What You'll Do:
As a Revenue Cycle Data Integration Specialist, you will:
Build, maintain, and enhance data integration and ETL processes
Extract, transform, validate, and reconcile revenue cycle data from multiple source systems
Support the organization's SQL-based enterprise data warehouse and Microsoft Fabric analytics environment
Develop and maintain analytics-ready datasets to support financial and operational reporting
Investigate and resolve data quality issues, discrepancies, and data anomalies
Apply business rules and logic to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Collaborate with revenue cycle, finance, operational, and IT teams to understand reporting and data needs
Support Power BI dashboards and key revenue cycle performance metrics, including claims, denials, and reimbursement trends
Document data workflows, integrations, and data structures to support long-term scalability and reliability

Experience working with healthcare revenue cycle data, including claims, billing, denials, and reimbursement workflows

1. Doctorate degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field; or
2. Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time software development experience; or
3. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time software development experience; or
4. Associates degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time software development experience; or
5. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma with a diploma or certificate in a computer science, or related field and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time software development experience.
NOTE:
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting healthcare revenue cycle data analytics and understanding of the claims, billing, and denials lifecycle, with an emphasis on preparing reliable, analyticsready datasets. Familiarity with revenue cycle workflows, HFMA key performance indicators, payer denials and claim edits is required. Strong proficiency with SQL-based enterprise data warehouses is essential. The candidate must be comfortable writing, optimizing, and maintaining moderately complex SQL queries to support data integration, validation, and downstream consumption. This includes working with large datasets, applying transformational business logic, reconciling data against source applications, validating with business stakeholders, and investigating data anomalies or data quality issues. The position emphasizes data integration and ETL support. Preferred candidates have experience extracting data from vendor systems and supporting transformation and load processes for enterprise analytics. Familiarity with PHP or Python-based ETL processes is important for maintaining existing jobs. Handson experience with Microsoft Fabric is strongly preferred, including working with data pipelines, dataflows, lakehouses, and warehouses. A solid understanding of ETL concepts

such as incremental loading, dependency management, refresh orchestration, and error handling is expected. Power BI experience is preferred, but is secondary to data engineering skills with a focus is on enabling accurate and trusted reporting rather than developing advanced visualizations. Candidates should be able to work with existing semantic models, update existing DAX measures, and make minor updates to operational dashboards used by business teams. The successful candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to handle multiple requests concurrently with minimal supervision. Clear communication skills and experience collaborating with finance, revenue cycle, and IT partners in a healthcare environment are essential.
