Job Summary:
Marble is a technology company founded to revolutionize the food processing industry, and they are seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer who is ready for a challenge. In this role, you will develop and support automation solutions, focusing on microservices architecture and real-time communications with commercial systems.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop and maintain microservices using Golang, Python, C++, or C
โ€ข Design, review, and evolve system architecture for real-time distributed systems
โ€ข Lead technical design discussions and provide clear direction on implementation approaches
โ€ข Own end-to-end delivery of features, from design through deployment and production support
โ€ข Mentor and guide other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical feedback
โ€ข Conduct integration tests in the lab and at customer sites
โ€ข Manage and optimize services for real-time image classification and communication
โ€ข Implement efficient messaging patterns using NATS, NATS JetStream, gRPC, and structured Protobuf APIs
โ€ข Manage and troubleshoot infrastructure components such as Nomad, Consul, Vault, and Terraform
โ€ข Ensure reliable data handling and processing via AWS
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
