The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Software/SATCOM Technician to support our government program. Qualified candidates will have experience configuring Cisco routers and switches, experience operating and configuring VSAT/ Idirect, experience in integration, fielding, production, installation, test, and evaluation, maintenance, and Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM) in Department of Defense (DoD) C5ISR systems, subsystems, and equipment.
Responsibilities:
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) shall provide Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for all Navy Expeditionary Combatant Command (NECC) deployable C5ISR terminals via telephone, email and/or on-site support in order to maintain 24/7 deployable status.
FSR will provide technical support on all equipment and material under the NECC deployable C5ISR program to all personnel supporting the NECC C5ISR deployable systems program. Will have primary responsibility for maintaining Lab Training system and assisting with troubleshooting of equipment. Support will also include testing and support for deployable C5ISR terminals, associated Transport terminals (Hawkeye III/ Hawkeye IV VSAT Terminals, and Starshield Terminals). Responsible for network monitoring and Cybersecurity compliance within regulation standards. Also responsible for Software related items for deployable C5ISR terminals
Provides Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support which includes, but is not limited to, Tier III repairs to systems that are beyond the technical expertise of the organization's level.
Provides installation, operation and maintenance training and troubleshooting to personnel on software related matters.
Assists in research and development efforts, as requested, and modification of new and existing systems.
Primary software technician for satellite deployable nodes which service associated with the deployable C5ISR terminal systems.
Provide weekly, and as needed, deliverables depicting support provided to our customers.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active Secret Clearance with ability to acquire and maintain Top Secret w/SCI clearance.
Technical Training in DoD C5ISR systems to include Satellite Communications Equipment or Networking Equipment.
Security + Certification required
Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches, Specialized experience in the design, development, testing, analysis, operation or maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems Deployable Node.
Experience with software updates, software programming and loading, software research and software maintenance.
