This position will be a Temp to Hire  working through an agency.

 Responsibilities of the Temp Shop Hand include, but are not limited to:

  • General shop duties
  • General shop cleanliness
  • Assisting Mechanics
  • Setting up and preparing the machines
  • Keeping machines loaded with materials
  • Moving parts around
  • Maintenance and upkeep of the shop
  • Using Forklift and overhead crane
  • Sweeping and mopping
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications for the Temp to Hire Shop Hand include, but are not limited to:

  • 2+ years of shop experience
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read tape measures and levels
  • Experience using a Forklift
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to be trained
  • Must work as a team player
