First-Class Pipefitter (Journeyman Level)

**We are offering up to $1,500 sign on bonus**

Location: Pascagoula, MS
Pay Rate: $52.00 per hour
Per Diem: $180 per day (Must be 75+ miles away to qualify with a utility bill in your name) **Will only accept light bill, water bill or gas bill** 
Schedule: Full-time - with potential for day or night shifts

Job Summary

A First-Class Pipefitter, also known as a Journeyman Pipefitter, is responsible for fitting and installing piping systems made from a variety of materials including steel, galvanized, copper, copper-nickel, and stainless steel. The role involves assembling and securing pipes, valves, and fittings using appropriate tools and equipment while following detailed drawings, arrangements, and blueprints to ensure precision and compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, thread, and fit piping systems according to drawings and blueprints.

  • Install and align pipes, valves, and fittings constructed from multiple materials.

  • Perform hydrostatic and air testing to verify system integrity.

  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for layout and assembly.
