Job description

SCAD seeks a dynamic and dedicated full-time professor to join the SCAD Language Studio Faculty. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching English to speakers of other languages and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The full-time Professor of ESL will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective ESL instruction to a diverse student body. In this role you will teach courses and host contact hours as determined by your credentials and university needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree/ Master's degree in ESL, TESOL, or related discipline
  • Academic and professional credentials to teach in the discipline
  • Two years of work experience in a related profession or post-secondary teaching experience

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience teaching in an Intensive English Program

Travel Required:
