Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Lexington, VA

Salary: $30-$40 (experience-based) | Full-Time | Night Shift 6:00P-6:00A

MEDIKO is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care at Rockbridge Regional Jail. This role is responsible for administering medications, conducting health assessments, responding to patient concerns, and supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality care. The ideal candidate is a dependable nursing professional who thrives in a structured environment and is committed to improving the health and well-being of underserved populations.

Qualifications

  • Current, active Virginia unrestricted license LPN
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of nursing experience preferred
  • Experience in correctional healthcare, behavioral health, long-term care, hospital, or other clinical settings preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required
