What You'll Do
As a valued member of our healthcare team, you'll practice at the top of your license while delivering quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assess patients and respond to routine and urgent medical needs
  • Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the medical provider
  • Accurately document assessments, treatments, and medication administration
  • Assist with emergency response and patient care coordination
  • Maintain medication accountability and clinical documentation
  • Follow established policies, protocols, and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, providers, and correctional staff to ensure quality patient care

What We're Looking For
  • Current North Carolina RN license or Paramedic certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with excellent critical thinking skills
  • Correctional or emergency healthcare experience is a plus, but not required-we provide training.
