Description
University Physicians' Association is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position with University Thoracic Surgeons, located within UT Medical Center. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while working collaboratively with multiple providers in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This role involves assisting providers with direct patient care, scheduling surgeries and procedures, communicating test results, and providing patient education. Applicants should be comfortable educating patients on medications and surgical or procedural expectations. The position requires significant telephone communication, including answering patient questions, triaging concerns, and managing daily clinic responsibilities.
Previous outpatient clinic experience related to lung disease or thoracic surgeries is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
