As a Registered Nurse (RN) you have a very versatile job in the healthcare industry and continue to grow every day. The DuBois Nursing Home is looking for someone who is seeking a career in a skilled nursing facility to become a fundamental member of our Resident Centered Care Team!
Some of the job functions include the supervision of daily operations of the nursing staff to help achieve positive resident experience and to provide our residents with a safe and caring atmosphere.
The ideal candidate should exhibit clear communication skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, high ethical standards, and a team working attitude.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status.
  • Notify the resident's physician and family when there is a change in the resident's condition and provide appropriate care and follow through of physician orders.
  • Round with physicians.
  • Monitor medications, treatments, and IV Therapy to assure proper administration as ordered and scheduled.
  • Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
  • Ensure that all nursing personnel are following their respective job descriptions.
  • Give and receive nursing report at shift change.
