About our unit:

Our Birth Center is located within Logan Health Whitefish, a 25 bed critical access hospital in scenic Whitefish, MT. With five beautifully appointed LDRP rooms and a strong focus on quality, evidence based care, our department is the perfect environment to let your skills shine!

What you'll do:

This role offers the opportunity to provide care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and Level I nursery in a supportive, team-based environment.

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in all areas of the birthing experience

  • Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care

  • Participate in a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and shared success

Who you are:

  • An experienced OB/Labor and Delivery nurse

  • A calm, confident presence in high-stakes situations

  • You value strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Committed to patient-centered care and lifelong learning

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from school of professional nursing required.

  • Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.

  • Experience in a related unit is required. We are currently only accepting applicants with prior OB/Labor and Delivery experience.

  • RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.

  • ALS(ACLS) within 6 months of hire/transfer.

  • Birth Center:

    • Current NRP certification - within six (6) months of hire required.

    • EFM certification or EFM instructor status- within six (6) months of hire required.

    • STABLE preferred.

Shift:

Night Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
