Fresh Winds is a provider agency providing support for individuals with developmental disabilities to empower them to live the lives they choose. Supports are provided solely in the community and are directed by the interests, needs, and aspirations of each individual. We are looking for a qualified and caring person to work as a Registered Nurse (RN) who would be responsible for assisting individuals with developmental disabilities. Job Summary Coordinate healthcare for the Individuals we serve and provide staff training and direct intervention to meet the health care needs of the Individuals, as required in Missouri’s HCBS waiver. Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing and wellness coordination for individuals.

• RN to serve as a liaison and advocate when dealing with physicians, psychiatrists & consultants.

• Implement & train Fresh Winds staff on new and revised health related policies & procedures.

• Respond appropriately & promptly to on-call & emergency medical situations

• Responsible for clients' medical files and all documentation is completed accurately

• Complete paperwork required to document assigned individuals' health and related care needs

• Participate in ISP meetings, nurse meetings, departmental meetings, and other meetings as required

• Perform monthly and annual nursing assessments and develop associated health risk plans

• Obtain and remain current on any certifications required.

• Perform face-to-face assessment of Individuals served.
