How to become a full time RN medical record reviewer?

To become a full-time RN medical record reviewer, you typically need a valid registered nurse license and experience in clinical settings or medical documentation. Familiarity with medical coding, chart review processes, and relevant software is also important; some positions may require certification in health information management or coding. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of healthcare regulations are essential for this role.

What are some common challenges full time RNs face when conducting medical record reviews, and how can they overcome them?
