Job description

Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC)

Fox Subacute at South Philadelphia, a leader in long-term care for residents with complex respiratory needs, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC). In this role, you will oversee the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, help ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments, and support compliance and reimbursement activities. This role is a hybrid position and a wonderful opportunity for a skilled RNAC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and ensure MDS assessments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Review medical records, care plans, and assessments to confirm that documentation supports the care provided and associated reimbursement.
  • Ensure the facility follows guidelines for participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance programs.
  • Monitor case mix to help ensure the facility receives appropriate reimbursement for services provided.
  • Provide insurance updates related to resident care and services.

Qualifications

  • RN License
  • Prior RNAC experience is required.
