Job description

Job Description:
Central State Hospital is seeking full-time Registered Nurses for night shift (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) AND day shift (7:00 AM -7:00 PM).
  • Plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care activities utilizing the nursing process through active participation in the treatment planning process
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process throughout the patients hospitalization, from admission to discharge, consistent with the patients age, gender and cultural specific needs
  • Assess, supervise and maintain the safety, integrity and therapeutic nature of the milieu
  • Complete documentation and assignments within established time frames
  • Base hourly pay: $37.50 with three 12 hour shifts per week
  • Works rotating weekends and $1.00 addition of hourly wage for weekend premium.
  • Shift differential (10% hourly wage increase from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and 12% hourly wage increase from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
  • Required: KY RN License and Valid Driver's License
