Job description

Compensation: $48,000 base salary + uncapped sales commission (average first-year earnings: $80,000+)

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated sales person to support the continued growth of our retirement plan advisory practice. This is an excellent entry point into the financial services industry.

No financial services experience is required. We are primarily looking for recent college graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to learn. We provide the training, licensing support, and qualified leads you need to succeed.

This role is ideal for someone who wants:

  • Qualified leads provided by the firm
  • A fiduciary-based sales environment
  • Full training and licensing support from day one
  • A long-term career path within an established RIA

You will work directly with business owners, CFOs, and plan sponsors to introduce retirement plan solutions, coordinate plan conversions, and support ongoing client relationships.

Who We're Looking For

  • Recent college graduates or early-career professionals
  • No prior financial services experience needed
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Motivated, coachable, and comfortable talking with business owners and decision-makers

Training & Licensing Requirement
The first six (6) weeks of employment are a paid cross-training period, during which the new hire will learn the operational side of our business and our sales process. During this time, the new hire is also required to study for and pass the Series 65 exam. Passing the Series 65 within these first six weeks is a condition of continued employment — candidates must pass in order to move into the full sales role.

Duties

  • Engage with leads provided by the firm
  • Educate plan sponsors on 401(k) plan design, fiduciary responsibilities, and investment solutions
  • Present American Northwest's retirement plan services and value proposition
  • Coordinate onboarding and transition of new retirement plan clients
  • Work closely with internal plan administration and investment teams
  • Maintain CRM documentation and follow-up activity
  • Support ongoing client relationships and business development initiatives
